Dr. Sterkin’s Credentials

PRACTICE PHILOSOPHY:

During my training and throughout my 14 years of plastic surgery practice I have always believed in going the extra mile to obtain excellent results. Over the years I have learned many of the best and state of the art techniques in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery from the leaders of our field at various meetings and conferences. This practice along with paying careful attention to the details and allowing the artist in me to come out has helped me to achieve the best possible results. I have found this to be the case in all aspects of plastic surgery and particularly in the areas of breast surgery, body contouring and open rhinoplasty.

The main object of the consultation is to establish mutual trust and then to ensure adequate communication. I strive to make you feel as comfortable to allow you to effectively communicate your desires regarding altering your appearance. Equally important is the realism of your expectations. I then complete taking your medical history, perform a careful examination then respectfully and patiently explain in layman’s terms what procedure(s) is (are) recommended and proceed to discuss what each procedure involves (how it is done), potential risks and benefits, recovery time and viable alternatives. Often it is helpful to view representative before and after photos. I want you to feel fully informed about any recommended procedure so that you can be comfortable making a decision to undergo plastic surgery.

We will explain the financial commitment involved. It is my goal to make your consultation experience a pleasant one. I very much enjoy what I do and helping my patients. I am grateful to have a wonderful practice (partners, staff, office and surgical facilities) and such a friendly and fulfilling city as Milwaukee.
