All breast implants are created equal, right? Wrong. Although there are unique benefits of different types of breast implants that Dr. Kenneth Dembny offers at our office, this article is going to focus on the newest type of implant that we offer at our office: Natrelle 410 breast implants.
The biggest thing factor that separates the Natrelle 410 breast implant from other implants is the shape. Unlike traditional silicone breast implants that are round, the Natrelle 410 implant mimics the natural slope and projection of the breast— leaving patients with a more natural looking type of implant. If you were to take the Natrelle 410 breast implant and compare it side by side to a traditional round silicone implant, the difference in shape between the two would blow your socks off.
Another factor of the Natrelle 410 implants that sets it apart from other silicone implants is the texture and consistency of the implant itself. For instance, with traditional round silicone implants, the silicone gel is moderately cohesive. However, with the Natrelle 410 implants, the silicone gel is highly cohesive which helps the implant maintain its shape, proportion, and placement.
Even though the shape and texture of Natrelle 410 implants are different than traditional round silicone implants, they still come in a variety of different sizes which makes it easy for patients to choose an implant that looks natural for their body size.
Just like with all surgical procedures, we understand that the Natrelle 410 implants are not for everyone. We have noticed in our patients that the Natrelle 410 is better for women who have a tight or average compliance of their breast-skin envelope but that it’s not typically suitable for women who have drooping breasts or ptosis.
