Fractional Resurfacing with the FRAXEL® Laser

The Fraxel® laser is a breakthrough solution for the treatment of a variety of important cosmetic conditions, including dyspigmentation, photoaging, fine lines and wrinkles, melasma, and acne scarring. The Fraxel® laser combines the strength of an ablative treatment with the gentle safety of a non-ablative source.

Patient 90 – Fraxel Laser Resurfacing

19 yo woman who suffers from acne and acne scarring. Pre-operative exam show generally erythematous and few mildly hyperpigmented atrophic acne scars on the forehead, cheeks and chin, accompanied by an occasional breakout. Five full-face Fraxel laser resurfacing treatments were performed, each spaced three to four weeks apart (cumulative 31kJ and 5300 MTZ/cm2). The post-treatment photographs show the significant reduction in redness and improvement in skin texture fourteen days after the final treatment.
